Ph.D. Candidate - Reena Rani

Reena Rani is a Ph.D. candidate in National Institute for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, Pakistan. She is currently a visiting scholar in the Department of Crop and Soil Science at Washington State University. Reena’s primary research focus is to introduce soybean varieties in agro-climatic conditions of Pakistan. She is currently doing Genome wide association studies (GWAS) in soybean to investigate the genes linked to complex traits. She did her Masters in Genetics at Hazara University, Pakistan. Her focus is to learn advance computational statistics for analyzing NGS data and teach others to use these techniques.
