Meijing Liang is a Ph.D. student in the College of Animal Science and Technology, Northeast Agricultural University (NEAU), Harbin, China, and she is currently a visiting student in the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences at Washington State University, Pullman, WA.
Meijing is main research focuses are on Genome Wide Association Study (GWAS) and Genomic Selection (GS) for animal or plant breeding. She is currently investigating how to enhance power of binary traits with a new method.Meijing is interested in Bioinformatics and Quantitative Genetics. She got her B.S. in Animal Science and M.S. in Animal Breeding and Genetics at NEAU University. Her previous research was about broiler genetic parameter estimation. In the weekend, Meijing prefers outdoor activities or just playing keyboard at home.
